- Top 10 Women’s Gross teams

All other teams play in their location’s playoffs amongst teams that didn’t advance, during Week 7

- The tournament is open to men, women or any person over the age of 21.
- Must have 4 players to compete – but free agents can be matched up
* Five Iron Staff Members are able to join the league but will be exempt from all prizing

Yes! All players who sign up by 8/25 will receive 10% off the registration fee.
Yes — see the "Bring-a-Team Referral Bonus" section above. Returning teams who refer a brand-new team to Fall 2026 earn 10,000 5i Rewards Points ($100 value) per qualifying referral, up to 5 referrals per season.
All U.S. teams will pick a time slot on either Sunday morning, or Sunday, Monday or Tuesday night before the season starts (i.e. Monday 7pm). This will be your time slot for the full season.
If you or your team need to miss a league round, there are a couple of options:
- Bring a sub to fill in for your spot for any regular season league round.
- If you bring a sub, their score will be counted against their Trackman Handicap. If they already have one, it will be used toward scoring. If they don’t, they will play as a 0 handicap.
- Teams are able to reschedule two regular season league rounds at no extra charge. Reach out to your local league coordinator with your preferred day/time to reschedule.
- Any rounds rescheduled after the two free rounds will cost 50% of the simulator rental fee.
- Bring a sub to fill in for your spot for any regular season league round.
Entry will include:
- 7 Weeks of Play Guaranteed plus a free handicap week before the season kicks off (8 weeks total)
- Season-long Drink Specials
- Opportunity to win Closest-to-the-pin prizes every week
- Access to welcome drinks, mid-round contests, and post-round putting competitions
- Teams will compete against other local teams as well as teams across the country, and Internationally
- Each round, teams will play 9 holes on rotating courses and formats
- Players will putt with 12-foot gimmies (Trackman)
- Play runs for 8 weeks, with 1 handicap week, 6 weeks of regular season, and 1 week of playoffs/championships
- Each week teams will come in at their designated time and be directed to their simulator.
- A League Coordinator at each location will help teams set up their round week to week.
- Teams will be given a scorecard to track closest to the pin scores.
Males and Females will each play a tee box decided by Five Iron for each course specifically, decided week to week. Males generally will play from a tee box that is the 2nd or 3rd longest tee box, depending on the course. Females generally will play from the most forward tee box on the course, with the exception of courses that offer junior tee boxes.
Each week your team’s score will be your score to par for that week. (i.e. if you scored -2 the first week and then -4 the second week, you season score would be -6)
If teams tie during any week, the Tiebreaker is:- Total of the last 6 holes
- Total of the last 3 holes
- Total of the last hole
- Sudden Death Matchplay from the last hole backwards
After Week 6, the top teams on each leaderboard advance to the International Championship on November 3:
- Top 20 Gross teams internationally
- Top 20 Net teams internationally
- Top 10 Women’s Gross teams internationally
- The Playoff champions in each division at each location
Teams who don’t advance to the International Championship play in their local playoffs during Week 7 and are welcome to attend the end-of-season party and cheer on their local winners during Championship.
After the International Championship, our top international finishers on the Net, Gross, and Women’s Gross leaderboards will be our International Champions and win the Casa de Campo trip.
Teams may only win 1 trip — if one team wins multiple trips, they will pick the trip they prefer, and the prize they do not choose will be awarded to the next top finisher on the leaderboard
- All player handicaps will be capped at an 18 (2 strokes per hole) for any best ball rounds
- Five Iron Golf reserves the right to disqualify any team from the Net leaderboard who is suspected of purposely padding their handicap for the purpose of winning the Net championship
- A 67% handicap allowance will be applied to all players, meaning 67% of each player’s full handicap will be utilized
- There will be prizes awarded for CTP winners at each location each week
- Local prizes will be awarded during the playoffs for teams who don’t advance to the International Championship
- Five Iron Staff is welcome to play in any league season – but they and their team will be disqualified from any prizing associated with the league
- Any team with 5i staff members advancing to the championship will be replaced with the next best team on the leaderboard
- All players are expected to use the simulator properly and adhere to the Five Iron Golf Tour rules and regulations.
- Any attempts to manipulate the simulator as determined by Five Iron Golf staff in its sole discretion, will be grounds for removal.
- Teeing up the ball is only permitted on the first shot of every hole. Any violations of this rule will result in a scoring adjustment or disqualification decided by the National League Coordinator.
- All women’s teams will be competing on the same course for the same prizes every week — but there will be a separate women’s only gross leaderboard
- At the end of the regular season, the top 10 Women’s teams based on Gross scores will advance to the International Championship
Yes — Bucktown runs a 6-person scramble format with a different sign-up platform (Golf Genius), different course list, and time-slot-based pricing. See the "Chicago - Bucktown (Special Format)" section above for full details.
